Step 1

Making the Meringue

  • Line your tray with either a silicon mat or parchment paper.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 110C.
  • Make the Marvelous Meringue mix as per recipe instructions.

Step 2

Making the snowmen

  • Place half of the meringue mixture into a piping bag prepared with Tip 2A.
  • Pipe 6 large ‘domes’ of meringue; top each one with a slightly smaller dome.

Step 3

Making the Christmas Trees

  • Colour the second half of the meringue with Moss green and fill into a piping bag prepared with Tip 1M.
  • Pipe swirls of meringue to create tree shapes.
  • Decorate with sprinkles.

Step 4

Baking the meringues

  • Bake for 1 hour, turn the oven off, but keep the door closed.
  • Allow the oven to cool completely (this will prevent them from cracking) before removing from the oven.

Step 5

Decorating the Snowmen

  • Using a thin paint brush and the black icing colour, paint on 2 eyes and a smile.
  • Tie a strawberry shoelace sweet around it’s ‘neck’ for a scarf.
  • Cut an orange jelly sweet into segments (cut off the bottom so that it is sticky), press onto the meringue for a ‘carrot nose’.
